Winner of regional heat of the Havana Club International Cocktail Grand Prix
On Tuesday night, I was overjoyed to win the North East regional heat of the Havana Club international Cocktail Grand Prix.
There was tough competition, but I had two awesome cocktails and had done my research into Cuba and that shone through.
The drinks I chose to do were a 4 citrus and ginger daiquiri / Apricot a coco – a couple of tweaks need to be made but I am chuffed with them
This is Meimi, the UK’s Havana Club Brand Ambassador, and me with my winnings, a nice bottle of 15 year old. It’s well nice!
Next stop is London to pit my skills up against the best mixologists in the UK on Sunday 15th November. If I win that then I am off to Cuba.
Come down and cheer me on!
